Finally Here!

Well, we finally made it to DC today. We've been in D.C. for about two hours now, and I must say this church is more accommodating than expected. TONS of room, and a shag carpet in the sanctuary! We're looking forward to tomorrow; some of us are on the fence as to whether we want to site-see or attend the big Inauguration concert at 2:30. The fact we're only a couple blocks from the metro certainly doesn't hurt our options. We'll have to see how that goes. Fun times will be had by most, if not all. We'll keep you posted on how Sunday pans out for us. Expect plenty of photos and blog entries tomorrow night!

    So glad to hear that you made it to D.C. safe and sound! I hope you had a good night's sleep!

    We'll be watching the Obama Inaugural Celebration at the Lincoln Memorial on HBO.com - which I'd surely try to attend if I were in D.C.! It should be awesome!

    So, how many of you ended up making the trip? Did you stop at the half-way mark to rest?

    We're looking forward to the photos and blog entries yet to come!

    By the way, the forecast here calls for a high of 33 above on Inauguration Day in Fargo-Moorhead.

    There are 18 of us; we stopped at Constantine, MI, and stayed there overnight on Friday night.

    Where did you stay in Constantine? I attended college in Berrien Springs, MI, which was just a bit northwest of there.
